Russell Fairbrother, barrister, lawyer, Napier, was sworn in as QC Queen's Counsel (Taking of the Silk) at a special sitting of the High Court, Napier, by Chief Justice Sian Elias. The kapa haka group from William Colenso College performed a song and a haka, Mr Fairbrother was a BOT chairman there. Attorney-General Chris Finlayson also addressed the court. photograph
