Living the Dream

"God Gives Just Because You are His Child:

A friend of mine in first year this year has been struggling financially his whole time in Redding. He waits tables at Logan's steakhouse. He was meeting with some folks the last week of January and they asked him if he wanted to go back to Africa (he had been in Mozambique in the past with IRIS). He said his dream would be if he could have school paid off and then go to Africa. The man pulls out an envelope from his shirt pocket and slides it across the table, saying "before you got here tonight the Lord told me to give this to you.... I think you're going to Africa" In the envelope was a check for $5,000.

Needless to say my friend was overjoyed and for the last two weeks he has been rejoicing and processing about it with God. He asked God why He gave it to him now...when he had finally caught up with his bills and wasn't behind (things had gotten better at his job). He asked God why didn't He give it to him when he really needed it. He said the Lord told him "I don't give to you because you're in need, I give to you because you're My son." Living the Dream

Does God pay tax? I had an unexpected very high tax bill sent to me with a 10 due notice attached. I neither had the extra funds nor the energy to deal with this. I asked God to take care of it for me. One week later I got a returned call from the auditor, expecting to set up a payment plan if possible, after just a few minutes of talking, the auditor said "You know what? I am just going to write this off, you owe nothing." God really does answer our BOLD prayers! Jennifer J, TN"

Living the Dream

"Train Healed???!!!!

Sceptical businessman who doesn't know Jesus had a ride-on train for 20+years. He knows his train inside and out. He was asked to set it up for a Christmas event at the Civic Center. After setting it up it wouldn't go. He checked wiring and connections but nothing seemed out of order. Next an individual from the crowd walked up, laid hands on the train and prayed for it to go. To the businessman’s shock the train started working! Does Jesus love train rides? Via Dan M. Redding. CA"

Living the Dream

"Business Increase While Watching Heaven in Business Conference.

I wanted to attend the Heaven in Business conference in person but was not able to fit in but, I did subscribe to the Live Stream and have been following you for the past two days. Someone today was praying towards the end of their session, I believe it was you, that those attending would have business come to them even while they were at the conference. That we would be getting phone calls, text message, emails and even faxes (if they are still around) that would bring us business.

During the last 7-10 minutes of Steve & Wendy’s presentation today my phone rang. I business associate that I've not worked with for over a year called to ask if I would fly down to Dallas, TX on August 19 for 3 days to help him and video a one day training session that he wants to do there. He will pay me $1,000 plus expenses for my time.

My wife and I prayed about it after dinner and the Lord told her that I should do it. I've been thinking about him lately and wondered how he is doing with life and the Lord. Now I get paid to spend time with him and find out. Henry, MN"
